Theda E. Bradford, 85, formerly of Plymouth

DUXBURY - Theda E. (Monti) Bradford, 85, of Duxbury died Thursday at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, N.H. She was the wife of the late Paul T. Bradford.

Born Aug. 28, 1921, in Plymouth, she was a daughter to the late Secondo and Medea (Collina) Monti.

A homemaker, Mrs. Bradford had been a Duxbury resident for the past 60 years. 

She also worked at the Mayflower Nursing Home in Plymouth, RS Means and the Duxbury Town Hall.

Mrs. Bradford was a member of the Mayflower Congregational Church in Kingston and its choir.

She is survived by her daughter, Theda Alizio of Houston; her siblings, Vilma Balboni of Naples, Fla., and Nelly LeCain of Plymouth; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister to the late Fred Monti, Anne Pratt, and Edna Vacchino. 

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Mayflower Congregational Church in Kingston. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. Arrangements are by Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston.
