Sudden Death of Rockland Woman

Mrs. Edith A. Folsom, a former resident of Rockland, died Thursday evening at Agawam, where she was suddenly stricken ill while visiting her granddaughter, Mrs. Randall Snow. She lived in Arlington. 

Mrs. Folsom was the widow of J. E. Folsom, a former well-known Rockland merchant and had frequently visited that town, where she had many friends, since making her home in Arlington. While residing in Rockland she was affiliated with the Woman's Club and other women's groups there. She was a member of the Rockland W. R. C. and the Cambridge Chapter, O. E. S. 

She leaves two sons, Robert Folsom of Haverhill and Charles, who is associated with the editorial staff of the Boston Post; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. 

The funeral will be Sunday afternoon in Arlington. Interment will be in Manchester, NH.
