Joseph Reinhold Hallin, husband of Levina (Backstrom) Hallin, of 7 Greenwood road, died to-day at his home after being in failing health the past 14 years. He had made Brockton his home the past 38 years and was employed as a bottom filler at the Geo. E. Keith Co. for many years, retiring in 1932. he was born in Oreboro, Sweden, the son of August and Veda (Ekholm) Hallin.
Besides his wife he is survived by three living sons, Vincent J. Hallin, Milton Hallin, and Elmer Hallin, all of this city, and one daughter, Miss Mildred Hallin of this city. One son, Kenneth Hallin, lost his life in the service of his country in April, 1944. There are also two brothers in this city and one sister, Harry Hallin, Arthur Hallin, and Beda Peterson; also one brother and two sisters in Sweden. He was a member of the Liberty Lodge, SP of A, and the Trinity Baptist church.

Funeral services Wednesday at 2:30 P. M. at the Sampson Funeral Home, 309 Main street, Rev. Oscar B. Anderson officiating. Interment in Pine Hill cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours Tuesday 4 to 6 and 7 to 10 P. M.
