Edward F. Pulsifer, Sr.

AVON - Funeral services for Edward F. Pulsifer, Sr., who died on Sunday, were held Wednesday morning from the Hurley Funeral Home at 108 North Main St., this town, followed by *---Text Illegible---* Mass of Requiem in St. *---Text Illegible---* Church, celebrated by Rev. Joseph McDermott, assistant. The Mass was attended by a number of relatives and friends and an extra car was needed for the floral tributes. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boston, where prayers were said at the grave. Bearers included James Galvin, Edward Galvin, and Francis Galvin, all of Boston, and James Geary, William A. Geary, Jr., and William A. Geary, Sr., all of Avon. The deceased was a retired Boston telephone worker.

Mrs. Anna Nelson died last night at her home on Howland court, North Easton, at the age of 74 years. Death was caused by a combination of old age and bronchitis. Andrew J. Maloney

Andrew J. Maloney, 65, of 14 Blaine St., husband of Esther (Nordstrum) Maloney died unexpectedly at Brockton Hospital on Monday.

A native of Boston, he was the son of the late John A. and Mary A. (Mullin) Maloney.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, ---*Text Illegible*---, Newport, R. I., and Mrs. William (Marilyn) Held of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Stephen Maloney of Brockton and Lawrence Maloney of Central Falls, R.I.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Procataris of Attleboro and Mrs. Elizabeth O'Neil of Brockton; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be on Thursday from the Hickey Funeral Home, 403 Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 9 a.m. Inter-
