Mrs. Edith Minnock

    Mrs. Edith Minnock

   Word has been received here
of the sudden death at her
home in Hudson this morning of
Mrs. Edith Minnock a former
Brocktonian. She was a resident
of Hudson for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Minnock was the widow of
John Minnock and was a daugh-
ter of the late Benjamin and
Alice Pierce of this city.
   She leaves a son, John of
Hudson; a daughter, Mrs. Frank
Johnson of Waterbury, Conn.;
two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Bes-
sie) Shealey of this city and
Mrs. Ethel Fitzpatrick of Bos-
ton; a brother, Louis Pierce of
Wareham.
   The funeral will be held Wed-
nesday afternoon in a funeral
home in Hudson and burial will
be in that town.

Edward F. Pulsifer, Sr.

AVON - Funeral services for Edward F. Pulsifer, Sr., who died on Sunday, were held Wednesday morning from the Hurley Funeral Home at 108 North Main St., this town, followed by *---Text Illegible---* Mass of Requiem in St. *---Text Illegible---* Church, celebrated by Rev. Joseph McDermott, assistant. The Mass was attended by a number of relatives and friends and an extra car was needed for the floral tributes. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boston, where prayers were said at the grave. Bearers included James Galvin, Edward Galvin, and Francis Galvin, all of Boston, and James Geary, William A. Geary, Jr., and William A. Geary, Sr., all of Avon. The deceased was a retired Boston telephone worker.

Francis E. Sullivan

The funeral of Francis E. Sullivan, 53 Clara Rd., was held from the Hickey Funeral Home, 403 Main St. A Solemn High Mass of Requiem was sung in St. Colman's Church by Rev. John Mark Hannon, celebrant, Rev. Richard O'Donovan, deacon, and Rev. Fr. Casmir, SA subdeacon. Prayers at the graveside in Calvary Cemetery were said by Fr. Hannon and Fr. O'Donovan. Mrs. Anna Reardon was at the organ. An extra car was required for floral tributes. Bearers were Jerome McDonald, Harold Wiggin, Robert White, Frank Massey, Kevin Corey, and Maurice Flaunders.

Mrs. Lorimer Sabean

The funeral service for Mrs. Alice (Haskins) Sabean, wife of Lorimer L. Sabean, formerly of Green St., who died in a nursing home in Plymouth, was conducted Wednesday in the Sampson Home, 309 Main St. Rev. John Estes of the Congregational Church in Duxbury, officiated. Interment was in Melrose Cemetery.

The funeral service of Edythe G. Hodge, formerly of 7 Main St., who died Saturday, was conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Anderton Funeral Home, 609 Washington St., Whitman, with Russell Lockwood, minister of the Universalist Unitarian Church, officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery.

Charles E. Carlson

Funeral services for Charles E. Carlson, formerly of 17 South St., husband of the late Alma (Hall) Carlson, were held Saturday afternoon from the First Lutheran Church Chapel with the pastor, Rev. Harris L. Willis officiating. Mrs. Roger W. Anderson was organist. There were many floral tributes and an open car was used to convey them to Melrose Cemetery, where interment took place. Rev. Mr. Willis conducted the committal service.
