Leo F. O'Brien
The funeral of Leo F. O'Brien, 150 Winter street, was held this morning from the funeral home at 9 Chester avenue. A high mass of requiem was sung in St. Edward's church, with Rev. Francis J. Harkins a celebrant. Miss Blanche D. Pickering was in charge of music. Soloists were Mrs. Elizabeth Sheridan and Joseph Angelo. Acolytes were John and James Adams, nephews. A detail of 50 firefighters, in charge of Fire Chief Lawrence F. Lynch attended the mass. Burial was in Calvary cemetery and prayers were said at the grave by Fr. Harkins.
