E. Allan Stuart

HANSON - E. Allan Stuart, husband of Mrs. Theresa M. *---Maiden Name Illegible---* Stuart, died suddenly at his home 1443 Main street, Saturday morning. He had suffered from a heart condition for the past two years. Although ill health forced him to give up work 15 weeks ago, his death at this time was unexpected. 

He was born in Bloomfield, N. J., 53 years ago, son of the late Grant and Rena Stuart. He resided in Wakefield for a number of years, where he conducted a shoe business. The family moved to Hanson six years ago, when he accepted a position as general sales manager with Ouimet Stay and Leather Co., Brockton.

He was a member of Boston Boot and Shoe; 210 Associates, Inc.; New England Shoe and Leather; Boston Shoe Associates; St. Paul's Royal Arch Chapter, Boston; Aleppo Temple, Boston; Sodality Lodge, Boston Commandery, Knights Templar; and was a former president of Boston Shipper's Association. 

Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Nancy R. Stuart, a student at Whitman High school, and a son, Nelson A. Stuart of Dayton, Ohio; also a cousin, Mrs. Joyce Ray of Gorham, N. H. 

Funeral services will be held at the funeral chapel, 532 Washington street, Whitman, Tuesday at 10:30 A. M. with Rev. Robert H. Heigham, pastor of First Congregational church, Hanson, officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside cemetery, Wakefield.
