Sudden Death of Rockland Woman

Mrs. Edith A. Folsom, a former resident of Rockland, died Thursday evening at Agawam, where she was suddenly stricken ill while visiting her granddaughter, Mrs. Randall Snow. She lived in Arlington. 

Mrs. Folsom was the widow of J. E. Folsom, a former well-known Rockland merchant and had frequently visited that town, where she had many friends, since making her home in Arlington. While residing in Rockland she was affiliated with the Woman's Club and other women's groups there. She was a member of the Rockland W. R. C. and the Cambridge Chapter, O. E. S. 

She leaves two sons, Robert Folsom of Haverhill and Charles, who is associated with the editorial staff of the Boston Post; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. 

The funeral will be Sunday afternoon in Arlington. Interment will be in Manchester, NH.

Mrs. Mary Devine, 75, Ill One Month, Dies

Mrs. Mary Devine, 75, wife of Denis of 57 Central street, East Bridgewater died Friday after being ill a month. She was born in Fall River and lived 30 years in EastBridgewater. She was devoted to her home and family, not caring for outside interests.

She leaves two sons, Jeremiah and Denis, both of East Bridgewater; adaughter, Mrs. Louis Perkins, alsoof that town, and two sisters, Miss Catherine Crowley of Whitman andMrs. Annie O'Neil of New Port, R. I.The funeral will be from her lateresidence, Monday at 8:15 A. M. High mass of requiem will be celebrated at St. John's church at 9. Interment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas' cemetery, Bridgewater.
