DIED

NUOVO - Of Brockton, Nov. 19, Francesco, husband of Esther (Bruno) and father of Joseph Nuovo and Lucille Hopkins, both of Brockton, Michael Nuovo of East Bridgewater; brother of the late Vito Nuovo; also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral from the Joseph J. Pica & Son Funeral Home, 419 Main St., Brockton, Tuesday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Colman's Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to visit the funeral home Monday 2-4 and 7-9.


PITTS - Of Sherborn, formerly of Stoughton, Nov. 17, after a long illness, Willis N. Ph.D., 81 years, beloved husband of Frances H. (Haddock); brother of Raymond J. Pitts, Ph.D., of Sacramento, Calif., and Nathan A. Pitts, Ph.D. of Baltimore, Md., and the late Robert B. Pitts; also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services will be held in the Pilgrim Church, North Main St. (Rte. 27), Sherborn, Mass., on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the church memorial fund would be appreciated. Visiting hours are omitted by request. Arrangements by the Sheehan Funeral Home, Stoughton.  


SOCORRO - Of Dorchester, Nov. 19, Guilhermina (Dantas), age 82, wife of the late Alberto; sister of Albert Dantas of Braintree; aunt of Maria Rosa of Stoughton; also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews.
