Antone Mello
BRIDGEWATER. – The funeral of Antone Mello was held this morning from his late home, 267 Oak street, followed by a high mass of requiem at St. Thomas Aquinas church, celebrated by Rev. Percival J. Quill. Many relatives and friends were in attendance and there was a special flower car to convey the many floral tributes. The organist was Mrs. Wilfred Mason and the soloist Miss Rose Cassiani. Interment was in the family lot in old St. Thomas Aquinas cemetery where the committal service was conducted by Rev. John Doonan. Active bearers were six grandsons of the deceased: Joseph Rourke, Theodore Agritha, Ernest Mello, Joseph Mederos, Anthony and Manuel DiSilva.
John T. Herbert
The funeral of John T. Herbert of 574 Warren avenue was held Friday afternoon at the funeral home, 9 Chester avenue, Rev. George D. Hardman, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church conducted the service. Many friends attended and there were lovely flowers. Interment
